Guiding You to a Better Tomorrow:
My Personalised Approach to Therapy
Taking the first step toward better mental health and personal growth is a big decision, and I would be honoured to be part of your journey.

Hi, I’m Dawn
I’m a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), registered with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I have extensive experience working in mental health services and supporting people who are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and work-related challenges.
Alongside my CBT qualification, I am also a trained Employment Specialist, with experience working within the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) programme. This means I understand first-hand how closely mental health and work can be connected and how difficulties in one area can impact the other.

How CBT Can Help You:
Through personalised CBT sessions, I provide practical strategies to help you:
✔ Identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to anxiety and stress.
✔ Develop coping techniques to manage overwhelming emotions and regain a sense of balance.
✔ Build resilience and confidence to face life’s challenges with clarity and control.

How Mindfulness can Help You:
✔ Mindfulness helps you slow down, reconnect with the present moment, and find calm in the midst of everyday stress.
✔By practicing mindfulness, you can build resilience, improve focus, and nurture a greater sense of balance in your life.
✔Mindfulness isn’t about emptying your mind — it’s about learning to notice your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

Why Choose Sessions with Me?
As well as offering CBT therapy, I bring specialist experience from working in mental health employment services through the IPS programme. I have supported many people who want to improve their mental health while also managing work, returning to employment, or building confidence around their career.
I understand the pressures that work can bring, including:
-
Anxiety and stress related to work
-
Low confidence or self-doubt in the workplace
-
Returning to work after a period of mental ill health
-
Balancing mental wellbeing with employment goals
This combined experience allows me to offer therapy that is grounded in real-life challenges, particularly for clients whose mental health is affecting their working life.

Many of my clients tell me they wish they had started therapy sooner.
If you’re ready to make a change, take the first step today.
